- Implement and monitor workplace health and safety protocols; coordinate risk assessments, WHS training and hazard identification; manage the reporting and documentation of incidents and analyse them to prevent recurrence; and align practice with the applicable state or territory WHS law.

To complete the subject requirements safely and effectively the individual has been able to:
- Explain hazard identification, risk assessment and the implementation and monitoring of risk controls; describe the legal framework for workplace health and safety including employee duties and the consequences of non-compliance; and give examples of effective communication strategies for promoting a safety culture.
